Highlights from Saurashtra Patel Culture Samaj (SPCS) DC Chapter’s summer picnic at Fox Hunt Park, Alexandria, VA.

The menu ranged from Idli Sambar, Street Snacks to Rajkot’s very own Kathiawari Dish Tavo Chapdi.

Chapdi Tavo  is a unique but delicious dinner food from Rajkot. Chapdi is a thick / fried bhakri served with tavo, vegetable gravy. The crushed Chapdi is served with hot tavo on it and mixed well. It’s a must try dish we recommend for your next Gujarati Dinner.
